'Prepare the people to hold the gates.' - the wind whispered to me with power and purpose.
This voice echoed through the realms of light in the midst of a surreal dream given to me last night.

In the brilliance of THIS LIGHT, an expanse bathed in warmth and radiance, a fence with myriad gates enclosed the space. Beyond these gates lingered a haunting DARKNESS, where people sat motionless.

SUDDENLY, THE WIND BLEW, UNLEASHING THE OPENING OF GATES.

Individuals, each with a unique role, rushed to their designated gates, holding them wide for those trapped in darkness:
A gatekeeper, a teacher, holding books and pencils.
A gatekeeper, a businessman in a polo, navigating prosperity.
A gatekeeper, a mom, balancing nourishment and refuge.

The Holy Spirit spoke again: "I SEND GATEKEEPERS INTO THEIR MONDAY MISSION.

Share and declare - "The gates are open, and the glory is pouring in!"

Hey there, it's me again, sharing some thoughts about life's struggles and the strength we find in our faith.

You know, there's this common saying that "God will not give you more than you can handle," but let's get one thing straight – that phrase isn't exactly what the Bible tells us.
God won't let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, but that's not the same as saying He won't give us more than we can handle.

God will never give you more than HE can handle... so you have to trust in Him.

1) Running from Temptation, Not Fighting It
When life gets tough, it can feel like a never-ending battle.
But remember, God's promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 is about temptation, not life's challenges.

He won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and when temptation comes your way, He'll always provide a way out.

So, when you're facing challenges that seem beyond your ability to endure, don't think you're alone.

Even the Apostle Paul, in 2 Corinthians 1:8-9, felt the weight of burdens beyond his capacity to bear. But what those trials taught him was that God wouldn't give him more than He could handle. His trust and reliance on God would see him through, just as it will see you through.

2) Renewed Strength, Not Removed Struggle
When it feels like your struggles are piling up, don't give up - God's giving you new strength.

Isaiah 40:29-30 doesn't promise that God will take away your problems, but He will give strength to the weary and empower the weak. Every success requires stress, every blessing carries a burden, and every struggle is an opportunity to grow stronger.

So, instead of praying for your struggles to disappear, pray for God to increase your strength.

Tough times may last a long time, but remember, tough people last longer.

It's not about using your strength; it's about discovering His strength within you (Philippians 4:13).

3) Finding God's Strategy in His Strength
Stressful times can make it hard to see a way out, but don't make hasty decisions. When David was distressed in 1 Samuel 30:6, he didn't ask God for direction; he sought strength in God. In your most challenging moments, turn to God for strength, not just answers.

Three incredible things happen when you make God your strength:

• You'll find endurance like an athlete to run the extra mile.
• You'll remain steadfast through trials, like a committed soldier.
• If the storm doesn't stop, God will give you the ability to rise above it.

So, run to God, not just to get answers or be delivered, but because you love Him.
Strengthen your connection with Him, and you'll find the peace and strength to overcome even the toughest of times.

In your moments of stress and struggle, take a moment to place your hand on your heart and seek strength from the Lord. Make your requests known to God, and His peace will overwhelm you. Remember, He won't necessarily make your problems disappear, but He'll give you the strength to face them with unwavering faith.

I want to talk to you about something that has been a significant part of my journey as a pastor – dealing with burnout.

Ministry is a rewarding but demanding vocation, and many of us have experienced the toll it can take on our physical and spiritual well-being. In this blog post, I'd like to share a few practical tips with you, tips that I've learned over the years, as we journey together in our faith.

1) Embracing the Life Within
First and foremost, we must recognize that God created humanity with an incredible capacity for life and fruitfulness. In Genesis, we see God placing life within His creation, whether it's trees, animals, or us, humans. He designed us to bear fruit, not as machines but as living beings filled with His life.

Machines can produce work, but we were never meant to be machines. We were created to bear fruit, but to do that, we need life – not just physical life, but the inner life that is essential for true fruitfulness.

2) Abiding in Christ
We often find ourselves stretched thin, trying to meet the demands of our job, our ministry, our families, and our friends. However, we must remember that Jesus became the Vine so that we could become the branches. In John 15, Jesus emphasizes the importance of abiding in Him to bear fruit. He became our Vine, bridging the gap between us and God.

Our successes and blessings in life are not the result of our efforts, but rather the result of our abiding in Christ. We don't need to strive or grind endlessly; we just have to abide in Him. When we are inwardly connected to the source of life, we bear fruit effortlessly.

3) Prioritizing Inner Life
Success and fruitfulness are not one and the same. In Colossians 1:10, we're encouraged to be fruitful in every good work, not merely successful. Success is a worldly pursuit, often at the expense of neglecting our inner life.

As Christian leaders, our mental health is intrinsically linked to our spiritual health. Thinking positive thoughts won't suffice if our inner life is neglected. Jesus invites us to come to Him for rest, indicating that true restfulness and joy stem from our inner world being aligned with His.

4) Respecting Your Rhythms
Just as branches have seasons of fruitfulness and rest, we, too, have cycles and rhythms in our lives. Machines operate constantly, but branches follow a natural ebb and flow. We must acknowledge our seasons and the lessons God intends to teach us during them.
Remember, you are a branch, not a machine. Fruitfulness is a silent, slow, and seasonal process, unlike the constant, fast-paced nature of work. Machines may produce products, but branches produce the fruit we eat.

Final Thoughts: Prioritizing Your Inner Life
In Acts 20:28, Paul reminds us to take heed of ourselves and our spiritual health. As pastors and leaders, we must focus on our spiritual hunger and the life of Jesus within us. It's not selfish; it's essential.

1 Timothy 4:16 emphasizes the significance of self-care and doctrinal soundness. Taking care of your inner life is a fundamental aspect of effective ministry and leadership. Amidst the demands and expectations of others, we must safeguard our spiritual well-being.

So, take a moment to assess your inner life. How is your heart today? How is your spiritual well-being? Remember, it's your responsibility to take care of yourself, so you can effectively care for others.

In conclusion, nurturing your inner life is the key to lasting fruitfulness in ministry. Embrace the life within you, abide in Christ, prioritize your inner life, and respect your rhythms. By doing so, you can bear fruit that will be a blessing to your congregation and bring glory to God.

Our back is responsible for supporting our upper body, allowing us to stand and move around, and protecting our spinal cord. Some people struggle with back-related conditions such as chronic pain, injuries or even scoliosis. But as a believer, we understand that this is NOT God's will.

1. "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. I will be made whole." (Isaiah 53:5, Ephesians 3:20)

2.  "I am strong in the Lord. I will not be overcome by pain." (Ephesians 6:10)

3. "I have been created in Your image and likeness Lord. I declare healing for my back pain. I receive your relief and comfort now in Jesus name!" (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:7, Psalm 146:8)

4. "I am a new creation in Christ. I will not be defined or agree with any injury or condition spoken over me." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

5. "Lord, you are the great physician. You know what needs to be healed and how. I submit my body to you and say it must come into alignment with your Word and your Plan NOW in Jesus name!" (Psalm 147:3, John 5:1-9)

As Christians, we know that our children are a precious gift from God. We want to raise them in a way that honors Him and sets them up for success in life. As believers, we know that God is the ultimate healer and that He desires for us to be in good health. We can align our hearts and minds with God's truth by speaking declarations of faith over our lungs. Here are five declarations of faith you can speak over your lungs:

1. "I declare that my lungs are healthy and functioning at their full capacity. I trust in God to give me the breath of life and to heal any issues that I may have." (Isaiah 42:5)
   
   
2. "I declare that I am free from fear and anxiety regarding my lung health. I trust that God has healed my body and that He will protect me from harm." (Psalm 23:4)
   
   
3. "I declare that my lungs are healed and made whole. I believe that by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

But as believers, we know that God is the ultimate provider and that He wants to bless us financially.

1. "I declare that God is my source. I trust in Him to provide for all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

When we give, whether it be our time, our resources, or our talents, we are showing God that we trust Him to provide for us and that we are willing to be a blessing to others.

Making a dedication and commitment to give, whether through tithing or other means, is not just about giving money to the church, it's about recognizing that God is our source and that everything we have comes from Him. When we give, we are saying, "God, I trust that you will provide for me and that I don't have to hold on to my resources tightly. I am willing to bless others with what you've given me."
